WE SAY
What You Know About is the cheeky punk-infused debut from Mid Nite Life. Consisting of Frankie Plato (production & vocals) and Will Lardner (production), the duo, who have toured the world under their other pseudonyms PRofit and Streetwise and worked on previous projects together, decided to combine their previous experiences and love of all genres to create Mid Nite Life. It’s a full-on affair, with its chunky upfront guitars, rolling bass and bashy drums forming the driving sound, alongside some potent lyricism and acerbic social commentary. Think The Streets meets Yard Act and powered by Royal Blood. 6 Music's Huey Morgan is already a fan of the group, and we reckon What You Know About would be perfect for spins on the Jack Saunders Radio 1 Show, alongside further plays at 6 Music too. Later this summer, the lads will start a new monthly radio show on Soho Radio, feature on Edith Bowman’s Play Next 2022 podcast, and perform at All Points East in London. Energetic and addictive.
