Home Again
Michael Kiwanuka
WE SAY
The incredible Home Again lays strong support to the suggestion that Michael Kiwanuka is set to become one of the strongest breakthrough artists of 2012. Support has grown well to this point, aided by a stunning performance on Jools Holland last week. Michael's soulful talent and beautiful voice excel live - a platform which has seen him support Adele in the UK and Europe, as well as selling out his own shows. The video for Home Again has already picked up 140,000 views on YouTube in just 10 days and the two Communion released EPs to date have picked up radio support from Radio 1, 6Music, Xfm and Radio 2. It's clear upon listening to this great track why people are getting excited. The US will get their first live taster of Michael in December and he returns to the UK for a hefty tour in February. Michael's a hot tip for 2012, for now, he's one of the most compelling artists we've heard and well deserving of the recognition he's beginning to receive. Video.
