A skillful blend of chilled-out blues, folk and jazz, Melody Gardot's debut album, Worrisome Heart, was released to critical acclaim in the US. It seems to be seducing the UK critics too, with The Times' review calling it 'a charming debut by a remarkable talent'. General press response has been strong because of her personal story, which you can read about in this Telegraph piece. The music stands up behind the story, as this sultry lead single proves.
