Glaswegian musician Paul McGee is McGoozer, whose brother Brian was one of the founder members of Simple Minds, playing drums on their first four albums, whilst brother Owen Paul scored one of the most memorable pop hits of the 1980s with radio staple My Favourite Waste Of Time. Hugely talented, experienced and a passionate performer, McGoo's forthcoming album Songs From the Mirror was recorded with a selection of high profile producers and songwriters. A series of live webcasts and YouTube covers recently brought him to the attention of Yahama Music London who selected him to be one of their elite artists for this summer’s Soho Sessions Live. As a teenager he travelled the world as part of the company performing The Official Tribute To The Blues Brothers for three years, then ended up recording and touring with Mike & The Mechanics at many international festivals. His sound here on this track is very much in that vein with strong soulful vocals delivered over a crisp, expertly played melody that’s sure to cut through at grown-up contemporary radio stations around the world.
