Long Straight Lines is an engaging track that manages to avoid the obvious progressions and changes with a touch of quality that deserves to propel it onto radio. Matthew P has built a reputation as a talented and eclectic writer, having penned tracks with the likes of Joel Pott (Athlete), Iain Archer (Snow Patrol) and the Hoosiers, picking up publishing with Warner Chappell along his journey. Matthew’s track The Girl On The Platform Smiled/She Began To Dance has reached millions through its use on a series of Match.com adverts. Following two EP releases on Fiction, the Suffolk-born artist will release his full album - which shares its name with this track – on the same date.
