King Without A Crown
Matisyahu
WE SAY
Matisyahu’s album, Youth, entered at no.4 in the Billboard 100, and entered the US iTunes chart at no.1 making him America’s most popular reggae artist. This track is typical of some of the fantastically creative ideas on the album, which packs a powerful spiritual punch, bringing the genre kicking and screaming into a new era. His previous album, Live at Stubb's, went gold in the US. As RotD wrote after his performance at SXSW in 2005: "..Matisyahu was the last act we saw at SXSW and left us stunned. It seemed widely agreed that he's going to be big news in future." JF London Gig: 22 May, Hammersmith Palais
