Little Things
Marsicans
WE SAY
Back in 2016, some of you may remember we featured Leeds four-piece Marsicans twice as RotD. Since then, the band have gone on to develop their sound further, as well as building up support from across the industry with the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio X, Spotify, MTV and Vevo among others featuring them, plus picking up a number of syncs (Samsung, BT Sport) too. Last month, they released this glorious indie pop number, their final single on LAB Records, which earned them their eighth consecutive Spotify UK New Music Friday and additions to The Indie List (cover artist) and The Rock List playlists. With blog support from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, When The Horn Blows and Clash, Little Things topped the Hype Machine chart and this week the band will record a session for John Kennedy on Radio X. Having supported Foals in Hamburg and opened the Kaiser Chiefs Elland Road stadium show in front of 20,000 in June, the lads will be performing at Barn on the Farm festival this weekend, and more across the summer, including Truck, Tramlines, and Bingley. The band have started to work on tracks for their debut album and will record these at Coldplay's London studios, after being offered them by the band themselves, who are fans. All in all, it’s shaping up nicely for the lads from Leeds and we can't wait to hear the new material.
