WE SAY
Mamas Gun is singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andy Platts. This, his debut single has been B listed at Radio 2, and a slick piece of soul pop it is too. He tours with Craig David in June, played this week at City Showcase in London and will perform at the main festival stage at Popkomm this year. An album, written and co-produced by Andy, 'Routes to Riches' is due out in September. The radio support for this independent artist is welcome from Radio 2 and it's also testament to the strong team in place for Mamas Gun. A good start to a well-run campaign for a fine debut single.
