Let us introduce you to east London’s Malunga who produces a rather gorgeous blend of progressive pop and experimental soul. Having grown up surrounded by music and the variety of culture that the city offers, she was inspired to start writing at the age of 14 and has since honed her songwriting and performance credentials by attending the Urban Artist School. Released today, Never Let Go immediately impressed us on our very first listen with its atmospheric electro-pop melodies and ambient percussive elements allowing Malunga’s vocal prowess to shine. Tastemaker support has so far come from Toddla T at Radio 1 who played her previous single, Whispers in the Dark. Tonight you can catch her playing live at Camden Assembly in London supporting Shae as part Everything East live event. Captivating electro soul-pop from a vibrant and promising artist.
