We're All Going To Die
Malcolm Middleton
WE SAY
We're All Going To Die is the opening track from Malcolm Middleton's third album, A Brighter Beat. The campaign for this as an 'alternative Christmas number one' has been backed by quite a few BBC DJ's with two sessions for Colin Murray (including this one where they recorded the track with a children's choir), George Lamb and Radcliffe & Maconie. It's Colin Murray's Record Of The Month for December and is a ROTW with Radcliffe & Maconie on R2 and Steve Lamacq on 6Music. It is now on the playlist at 6Music and XFM. Features in tabloids, broadsheets and the music press alike, a BBC News feature and video plays on T4 and MTV2 have all seen this campaign gain exposure. It's an impressive feat, all credit due to those at Full Time Hobby, In House Press and Peer Group (radio/TV) for doing a great job in bringing a cult artist to a wider audience at the right time. JF London gig: December 11, Full Time Hobby Xmas Party @ 93 Feet East E1 (w/ Tunng, Tom Hatred + more)
