With the Great Escape kicking off fully today, we highly recommend you catch Cayman/Irish artist Maeve. The multihyphenate artist has impressed us over the last six months with her bewitching multi-layered sonic soundscapes. Not content with one genre of sounds, Maeve blissfully melds and creates epic pop offerings that seen her fearless DIY aesthetic draw support from the Paper, Vogue, Dazed, Face, Clash, Metal, Hunger, BBC Radio 1 and Spotify. With its sunburnt, synthy and trippy-type beat, Hounds is a gorgeous love song from her forthcoming EP, HYPERBLOOM, which captivated audiences on her UK/EU supporting tours with Marina and Banks. Alongside her music, she is also taking the fashion world by storm after recently signing with IMG Models and collaborating with Alexander McQueen and Rankin. You can catch her performing on the Beach Stage today at 12.15pm. After this, she has just been confirmed to support Young Fathers at Somerset House on 15 July.
