Somewhere There's a Plan (Believe It)
Maddox Jones
WE SAY
Following up on his breezy and bittersweet ode Can’t Wait For The Summer in April, Northampton singer-songwriter Maddox Jones is back with this future-retro pop song. The former Departure frontman has been, over the last year, steadily building a new fanbase with his debut EP Headspace and his new pop direction. Along the way, he has picked up tastemaker praise from Spin, American Songwriter, and It’s All Indie, plus radio support from the BBC and iHeart Radio. Written and produced with David Crawford, Somewhere There’s a Plan (Believe It) channels a ’70s-style funk groove, alongside uplifting melodies and infectious hooks. It’s a feel-good earworm, tailor-made for relaxing summertime and those groovy, uplifting contextual playlists. For fans of The Brothers Johnson, Daft Punk and Caribou.
