Whenever we need a perfect pop fix, our attention turns to the Nordics. Their knack for crafting brilliant, instantly-lovable three-minute bursts of euphoria and joy makes them the leading architects of the global sound in 2017. Talented artist Madden is a producer, writer and performer, with over 100 million streams for his songs since signing with Warner Music in his native Norway two years ago, making him one of Spotify’s Top 100 acts in the world. This track was launched on their New Music Friday playlist across eight countries. Here he enlists singer Chris Holsten for vocal duties on a song that he co-wrote with UK star Zak Abel (best known for his collaborations with Gorgon City), Swedish musician Andreas Moe (who has worked with Avicii, Tiésto, Hardwell) and John de Sohn. Co-produced by Norway’s kid joki (Britney Spears, Astrid S) it's as bang-on-trend as anything we’ve heard so far this spring. Strong on melody, stuffed-full with hooks and neat flourishes, this deserves mainstream attention, and a big promo push in the UK, no question. Chalk it up, it's yet another Nordic delight.
