Lose My Mind (Shane Codd Remix)

If you need a boost to your energy levels this midweek, then look no further to this remix of Lyra’s excellent Lose My Mind. Having been released back in October, the original version by the RotD-featured Cork singer-songwriter stayed in the Irish national Top40 airplay for fourteen weeks, was no.1 on the OCC Irish Homegrown chart, no.4 on Shazam Ireland and no.1 on Spotify’s official Local Pulse Dublin chart for eight weeks. This time around, Lyra has enlisted Limerick DJ Shane Codd, who has racked up over 125m streams over the past year and a Top 10 UK and Ireland chart hit, to add his euphoric and high tempo driven 90s/early 00s dance sound. Early support has come from Irish online press and radio (2FM, BBC NI), along with an addition to Apple Music’s New Dance playlist that is surely just the first. It’s early days, but we reckon this vibrant offering with its high octane vibes and infectious hooks has all the ingredients to become a summer smash.
