Lupe Fiasco is a 23 year-old MC from Chicago. After featuring with Kanye West on Touch The Sky last year, the secret was out. Previously signed to Epic as a group member and Arista as a solo artist, Atlantic is now his home. This has playlisted on Radio 1 and 1Xtra, and is backed up with strong support from TV. Production on his debut album, Food & Liquor – for which Jay-Z is executive producer – comes from a huge wealth of talent including the Buchanan’s and Mike Shinoda, who also guests on a track.
