Nothing Stays The Same
Luke Sital-Singh
WE SAY
We don't wish to boast about how long we've been supporting Luke Sital-Singh, suffice to say his first RotD feature included a link to his MySpace (younger readers ask mum and dad). Over the course of three well-received EPs that picked up early support at Radio 1, 6Music and Xfm, Sital-Singh's songwriting has developed from introspective back-room balladry to rousing, main-stage festival singalongs like today's featured track Nothing Stays The Same. Produced by Iain Archer (Jake Bugg, Gabrielle Aplin), his first release for Parlophone embraces a richer, more radio-friendly feel that's sounding fantastic on the Radio 1 and 6Music B-lists, while press runs from Best Fit to the Sunday Times. After summer festival appearances including Latitude and Secret Garden Party, as well as supports to The Staves, Martha Wainwright and Kodaline, Luke supports the Tornados EP with a UK headline tour in November.
