WE SAY
We last featured Luke Potter back in March 2018 with his laid back tropical house gem It’s Easy. Now signed to Ultra Records, the singer-songwriter from Weston-Super-Mare has released this emotive debut single for the label. Featuring on nine Spotify New Music Friday (including UK) playlists, Healing is an intimate and honest track, layered with soft instrumentals and breezy melodies, evoking the pop sensibilities of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber at their finest. Perfect for new pop and mellow contextual playlists, the track is also set to receive the Madism remix treatment, which will, no doubt, open further curation potential. Luke has previously worked with production legends including Steve Powers (McFly, Andrea Bocelli), Eric Rosse (Sara Bareilles) and Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat), as well as writing with Ivor Novello award winner Jörgen Elofsson (Paloma Faith, Robyn, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Rhys) on It’s Easy. With over 20m combined streams for his previous releases and tastemaker support from the likes of Spotify and BBC Radio 2, Healing marks an important step for this talented artist and we can’t wait to hear what’s next on his new journey with Ultra Records.
