WE SAY
‘Mr Useless’ is the upbeat and latest release from Dublin-born, Berlin-educated and London-based artist Lucy McWilliams. Taken from her third EP, ‘Third Second Chance’, the track continues to show off her new vibrant aesthetic she has been working on with Zach Dawes (Lana Del Rey, The Last Shadow Puppets). Backed by an addictive bass line and big warm production, her dulcet tones once again take centre stage as she sings on the very self-explanatory song topic. Last week, she packed out Servant Jazz Quarters in London and the Grand Social in Dublin for the EP release parties. Tastemaker support for the EP has come from Spotify, Apple Music, Radio 1, Clash, Hotpress, Earmilk, Wonderland, Vanyaland and more. Lucy McWilliams is an artist that has continued to impress us with her rich storytelling and range of soundscapes and we believe there is so much more to come from her.
