WE SAY
We last featured the sassy R&B sounds of Swedish/Gambian artist Luana Kiara last July with her gorgeous debut Trigger. The R&B roller became a strong favourite on Swedish radio station P3 where she hosted a show and led to her to become the face of the New Balance International Women’s Day campaign. Having played a number of sold-out live performances across her native country in the latter half of 2019, she is now back with her follow up after a successful Corite (fan-funded) campaign. Featuring huge heaps of bass and a hard-hitting chorus, Reminder sees Luana enlisting a sharp-tongued rap flow as she proudly sings about being a woman and the best. Perfectly pitched for confident and bold R&B and Pop playlists, this empowering anthem is another impressive step in this young Scandinavian’s music career and with more singles to come it is only going to get bigger. An empowering and infectious R&B banger.
