Your New Beloved
Lovelife
WE SAY
Keeping up with the new wave of modern R&B, Lovelife are a Brooklyn-via-London duo (Ally Young and Lee Newell) who offer up their unique take on the filtered-pop genre. The two boys released a free EP earlier this year to rave reviews from the likes of Neon Gold (“glossy 90s production into modern R&B”) Earmilk (“irresistibly sway-able, dance-able and groove-able”) and many more, resulting in a combined total of 50k+ plays and lead to the band working on official remixes for Maroon 5, The Killers and Everything Everything. Your New Beloved bears as much influence from the 80s as it does from Frank Ocean, seamlessly floating along with slick production from Young and impeccable songwriting from Newell. Lovelife's next EP, The Fourth Floor, will be released as a limited edition 10” vinyl.
