Lord Huron are enjoying critical acclaim and a rocketing fanbase both sides of the Atlantic thanks to debut LP Lonesome Dreams. The single - which shares its title with the album - conjures a landscape of musical beauty. Reverb-drenched harmonies have been likened to those of Fleet Foxes, Appalachia percussion and roots inspired chord progressions combine with flashes of electronics to outstanding effect. The songwriting is exceptional throughout the album, well noted by the likes of Uncut (8/10), The Sunday Times 'Album of the Week' and The Observer who commented on the LA group's originality. After a string of sold-out US shows, Lord Huron's rise is spreading to the UK with the band's two London shows selling-out by word of mouth alone.
