WE SAY
London-based singer and producer Lloren crafts “retro anthemic pop” bangers as she likes to call them. With a sound similar to Carly Rae Jepson, her blend of blissful, cinnamon-sweet pop tinged with a nostalgic feel has seen her music, to date, feature across various TV shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, The L Word and Love Island UK & USA, and has been praised by The Line of Best Fit, Diva Magazine, BBC Introducing and BBC London. At the start of last month, we featured the vibrant 80s-tinged pop earworm ‘California Daydream’ and now she has switched it up a bit with her latest release, ‘Miss You’. Leaning into the lighter side of EDM, similar to early Kygo, Lloren has co-written this addictive dance-pop earworm alongside producer Daniel Pashman. Propelled by a lush piano melody, a driving beat and dreamy production, ‘Miss You’ is full of soaring vocals and a nostalgic air, which deserves your attention and features on any new dance/pop and contextual mood playlists. Taken from her forthcoming album, ‘It’s Always Sunny In LA’, set to be released later this year, ‘Miss You’ is another impressive taster ahead of the album's release.
