With its pounding ’80s-inspired rhythms and blissful, cinnamon-sweet pop emotions, ‘California Daydream’ is the infectious new single from Lloren. Produced by London-based producer, songwriter and mixer Charlie T (Jax Jones, Kygo, Calum Scott), the track is a pure pop banger in the vein of Carly Rae Jepson, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Early support has come from BBC Introducing Solent but would also sound perfect on new pop playlists at DSPs. Some of you sharp-eared readers may also recognise the voice as she got to the finals of The Voice UK in 2018 and has multiple syncs across TV with her music in featuring in Grey's Anatomy, The L Word, 1923, Wish, The Company You Keep, Made In Chelsea, Love Island UK & USA and more. On the live front, she has performed at Manchester and London Pride, last year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend and Isle of Wight Festival and supported Canadian artist Mauvey. With an album set for release later in the year, there is plenty more to come from this emerging pop talent.
