WE SAY
Little Green Cars are perhaps the most hotly tipped band for 2013, and their latest single is already making massive strides towards realising that potential. The Irish five-piece not only made the BBC Sound Of 2013 longlist, but picked up tips from Xfm Great X-Pectations, Line Of Best Fit, Independent on Sunday, The Sun Something for the Weekend, Sunday Mirror, Telegraph, and more. Radio support has followed with plays on Radio 1 from Zane Lowe, Phil and Alice, Sara Cox, Xfm Daytime playlisting, 6 Music and Q. Online, both Twitter and Facebook have exploded coinciding with Little Green Cars' tour with man of the moment Jake Bugg. As a headline act, they've sold out forthcoming dates in London, Manchester and Bristol, warming up to a cross Atlantic trip for shows at SXSW and across America right through to Coachella in April. The video for Harper Lee went live yesterday, with early support from MTV Rocks. Little Green Cars debut album - Absolute Zero (May13) - is produced by Markus Dravs (Mumford, Arcade Fire), offering a tantalising combination of hit producer and an exceptional band, poised to do great things.
