I Don't Know

Lisa Hannigan

Hoop

WE SAY

I Don't Know is the first single to be taken from Lisa Hannigan’s debut album Sea Sew, her first solo release since parting with Damien Rice’s band. It's one of our favourites from an album with many highlights (An Ocean and a Rock and Lille are also exquisite). The album has been nominated for both Best Irish Album at the Meteor Music Awards and the Choice Music Prize in Ireland, where it has since notched up platinum sales status. The UK release follows her first headline tour here which culminates in the London show this week. Hannigan will perform on BBC2’s Later.. With Jools Holland this week too. Catch her live and check out the album – both provide a charming, captivating experience. JF. London gig: May 13, Shepherd's Bush Empire W12
