An Ear To The Chest

‘An Ear To The Chest’ is the new leftfield indie rock number from Dutch four-piece Lewsberg. Having formed in 2016, the group have since released three albums and have gained plaudits from NME, Clash, Uncut, Mojo and more. Next month, the Rotterdam-based group with be releasing its fourth LP, ‘Out And About’, on 15 September. Recorded with producer Yulya Divakova, the album sees founding members Shalita Dietrich (vocals, bass guitar), Michiel Klein (guitar) and Arie van Vliet (vocals, guitar, violin) joined for the first time on record by drummer and vocalist Marrit Meinema, who joined the band in the Autumn of 2021. With its simple guitar melody and drum beat flowing throughout ‘An Ear To The Chest’, the track shows off the band's flair for minimal indie. To support the release of their new album, the band will first tour Germany in September before heading off to tour the US and then returning to the Netherlands for dates in November.
