Into The Wild

WE SAY
Into The Wild is the sound of a young artist maturing. Following two successful EP's of pared-down acoustic songs, The Wild EP sees Oxford's Lewis Watson graduate to full-band production courtesy of Mike Crossey (Jake Bugg, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys), augmenting and gently underscoring his skillful, melodic songwriting. The fuller sound is working out: support for this track has already come from Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Sara Cox, Annie Mac, Fearne Cotton), Radio 2 (Dermot O'Leary) and Xfm (John Kennedy, John Hillcock), while the simple but classy video has notched up 100k views in two weeks. Lewis is busy on the live front in the coming months: a support slot with Lianne La Havas and festival appearances including Bestival, Live at Leeds and The Great Escape after a March headline tour, which includes a London show at 600-capacity KCLSU.
