For us, Lemar was the most talented of the Fame Academy students. First thought when we heard this: at least he's doing something different - no-one else sounds like this right now. And there's something about this debut single that makes us keep coming back to it. Meanwhile manager Richard Griffiths is predicting a million UK album sales and A&R Nick Raphael is being similarly bullish so there's no shortage of confidence in the Lemar camp.
