WE SAY
Le Youth last scored a UK Top 20 hit with former Record Of The Day Dance With Me featuring vocals from Dominique Young Unique. Now the LA-based musician, DJ and producer is back with this synth pop gem that’s picking up lots of love and support in all the right places. As well as having his own monthly Friday Night House Party radio show on Capital Xtra, Danny Howard at Radio 1 has featured this latest tune on his Dance Anthems programme and the track has been playlisted by Kiss Fresh. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business, ranging from Disclosure to Sam Smith and Nile Rodgers and his fondness for '90s R’n’B shines through once more here, with a vocal line that borrows heavily from Brandy’s song I Wanna Be Down. Like a lot of new dance tracks, this moves away from 2014’s trend of moody dark deep house cuts into something all so much more welcoming, destined to see some serious action in a club or pulsing out of a radio near you as spring approaches.
