The first single to be taken from James Murphy's (aka LCD Soundsystem ) new album 'Sound Of Silver', North American Scum is one of those standout electro-punk records that gets under the skin after just one listen. LCD Soundsystem are an unusual act, successful album artists that remain successful underground producers at the same time. Just as sonically daring as his earlier work, Sound Of Silver is a consistently exciting and creative album. This was a Record of the Week at Radio 1 and is playlisted both there and at XFM.
