Underwear Goes Inside The Pants
Lazy B
WE SAY
Lazy B is a pop/spoken word project from producers Johnny Douglas and Søren Rasted (formerly of Aqua). This is an intriguing mix of poignant imagery, comedy and sharp but inspirational social commentary. On this track, dialogue comes from American comedian Greg Giraldo and the vocals from Jannie Friis. Lazy B have been around as a collective since 2004, releasing their debut album in 2005. This was released as a single in Australia, where it debuted at #5 and went gold. It also became a radio hit in the US, and the video became a huge internet story - we wrote about it long ago. The video is captivating and must be seen to appreciate the project as a whole. Think of this as a grown-up version of Baz Luhrmann's (Everybody’s Free To Wear) Sunscreen. The subject matter is difficult, so perhaps not an easy record to break, but it's an arresting track nonetheless. JF
