The Way We Move
Langhorne Slim & The Law
WE SAY
The Way We Move, the exuberant and infectious title track from Langhorne Slim & The Law's new album (released this week), has 'synch' written all over it. With its bouncy acoustic guitars, barrelhouse piano riffs and Slim's raspy vocal, no wonder Microsoft spotted a good fit for their new Windows 8 campaign. The track also features in forthcoming film Admissions with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. Following on from 2009's Be Set Free, Slim's self-produced new album was cut live to tape in four days at Old Soul Studios in New York, a 100-year-old repurposed Greek revival house. Plays on 6 Music, Radio 2 and Absolute are building the band's UK profile ahead of their joining The Lumineers on all of their UK dates, starting Feb 16 in Dublin.
London gigs: Feb 20, Shepherd's Bush Empire // March 11 and 12, O2 Academy Brixton (with The Lumineers)
