WE SAY
We first featured London-based Kunta Kinte last year with the brilliant Stress, which yielded a great response for the band. Film Of My Life is more retro tribal pop fun but there's also a refreshing dynamic to their work that's quite unlike anything else around. It was mixed by James Lewis (Arctic Monkeys) and produced by Phil Vinall (Elastica, Placebo). They plan to put a single out in the spring (if anyone is interested in releasing a cracking ready-to-go single let them know). Typical of a band so untypical, you can catch them at a new twisted vaudeville night they are organising called White Mischief, details here.
