Still only 19-years old, Valentin Brunel is the DJ-producer Kungs. He's the man behind massive debut hit This Girl, one of the biggest songs in the world right now. It’s been No.1 on Shazam worldwide for six weeks running, notched up more than 53m video views, achieved over 125m audio stream, gone Gold in the UK and is still sitting inside the Top 10 this week. Not bad for your first-ever single. So how about a swift follow-up? Already Top 20 in his native France, this looks set to explode in every territory that's so far embraced his music and could go even further, thanks to a captivatingly cool, bluesy vocal from Bristol-born Jamie N Commons (who’s set to emerge as a star in his own right thanks to his current Not Gonna Break me track being synced by the BBC for their Rio Olympics coverage). With an album in the pipeline for release in October, this second single from it is officially released in the UK today (July 29). Wherever you holiday anywhere on the planet in the coming months, the music of Kungs will be inescapable. He's making this look easy. Just a massive tune.
