WE SAY
Dramatic, passionate and packed with so much promise for the future, this debut single from KUB is hugely noteworthy and demands your attention right from the off. What drew us to it are the myriad of influences swirling around in the musical pot here. You’ll hear the sort of intensity that Jeff Buckley floored us with on Grace back in the day, rubbing shoulders with early Radiohead from their Bends-era, melodic Soundgarden touches, and the commitment we remembered when we were first blown away by Hozier’s Take Me To Church a couple of years ago. The identity and real name of the artist is currently unknown, but the buzz is already starting after this song was premiered recently on Gigwise. Alex Baker at Kerrang! Radio then picked up on the track a couple of weeks ago and heaped praise upon it. We expect many more will now follow. There’s no news on live dates just yet but another new single from him is set to be revealed in the next few weeks. Watch this chap closely. Something very big indeed is brewing away right now.
