Landslide (Piano Version)

Kris Barras Band

Earache Records

WE SAY

The Kris Barras Band have been creating quite a name for themselves on the modern hard rock scene over the past couple of years. Formed by Kris Barras, a former, long-time Muay Thai and MMA pro-fighter from Devon, the band have drawn praise from Classic Rock, Guitarist, Record Collector and the blues press. They’ve also been featured on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, playlisted on Kerrang! TV and Planet Rock, and entered the Top 30 in the UK official album charts with their last album, ‘Death Valley Paradise’. Following their recent single release ‘Hourglass’ and lead single ‘Unbreakable’, this offering shows a different side to the band. With its power ballad air, the band have re-imagined their new ‘Landslide’ single, which will feature as one of the bonus acoustic/piano tracks on an exclusive CD edition of their forthcoming album that will only be available at their upcoming indie in-store events. With its ’80s rock vibes and emotional pull, it’s one of those songs we can easily hear/see being picked up for sync on a Hollywood film or US drama show. Watch the video here. Having supported Black Stone Cherry, The Darkness and Thunder, the band will be heading out on tour in April to support the release of ‘Halo Effect’, alongside 15 in-store acoustic performance/meet & greet events, before playing their biggest headline show to date at Chepstow Castle in August. Top stuff.
