WE SAY
Kongos are receiving a wealth of international attention following their five top 10 singles in South Africa, including the sync-friendly hit I'm Only Joking, all taken from their second album Lunatic. The four members are all brothers, sons of South African/British singer-songwriter John Kongos, who's best know for his two international hits He's Gonna Step On You Again and Tokoloshe Man. Over the past year the band have supported Linkin Park on their SA stadium tour playing to 110k people and performed headline slots at the Oppikoppi, Joburg Day and Rockin The Daisies festivals in South Africa. They are set to take the show international with a support tour with Awolnation lined up in the UK, February 2013. Their single Come With Me Now is currently being used in the official trailer for the Hollywood movie 'Holy Motors' starring Eva Mendes. Video.
