WE SAY
Dreamy new release Cut It Out swells with luscious synths and the ice cool sultry tones of outstanding 17-year-old vocalist Chloe Chaidez. Los Angeles-based indie rock band Kitten are still pretty new in the States, with this the lead track on what will be their second EP. The first - Sunday School - picked up high praise upon release back in 2010, with reviewers noting similarities to Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Metric. The video for Cut It Out premiers on Ear Milk later today, with support already in for the single from the likes of Brooklyn Vegan, Stereogum, and Nylon. Kitten will spend their summer traveling the US alongside Pomegranates, but sadly no UK dates in the pipeline just yet.
