WE SAY

Endorsed by Hozier and winner of the Northern Irish Music Prize – Single of the Year 2018 for their track Human, Kitt Philippa from County Armagh in Ireland have just dropped this gorgeous title track to their You EP. Released last Friday (17 May) and featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, having already garnered radio support from Huw Stephens (Radio 1) and Mary Anne Hobbs (6 Music), the track combines a gentle piano melody with ethereal electronics, minimal percussion and the serene vocals of Kitt Philippa to stunning effect. Vulnerable, open and entirely captivating, You is a beautiful track, tinged with echoes of Jeff Buckley shining through. Their previous singles Human and Grace, which both feature on the EP, have garnered tastemaker praise from the likes of the Line of Best Fit, Nialler9, Clash, Tom Robinson, Phil Taggart and Tom Ravenscroft. Exquisite songwriting and vocal from an emerging new artist.
