WE SAY
King Krule's expressive croon wildly resonates through every beat of latest release Rock Bottom, showing the man aka Archy Marshall's otherworldly R&B flow in emphatic fashion. The 17-year-old south-east London-based singer/producer/songwriter celebrates his release on Rinse FM's label with a one-off commemorative show broadcasting on Saturday (September 30) from 11am-1pm. Radio support has included a 'Hottest Record' from Zane Lowe, with further plays from Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw, Rob Da Bank and Annie Mac on Radio 1, with Lauren Laverne leading the way at 6Music. A busy summer touring schedule has seen Archy travel the world, from Japan to Poland, with a high profile set at Pitchfork's annual festival in Chicago thrown in for good measure. His talent is immeasurable and whilst Archy's career is young his music is already making an impact on those who hear it. With some TLC from his team, Archy stands every chance of making an album (due 2013) of real importance for a new generation.
