WE SAY
This great off kilter glam-pop gem is the first single proper from the totally infectious King Charles. His debut EP back in 2009 placed him firmly of critic's radars as 'One to Watch', but a near fatal injury bought progress to a halt. Despite his recovery taking almost two years, King Charles has achieved an enormous amount. Championed for his live performances, he toured America with Mumford & Sons before becoming the first and only British artist to win the 'International Songwriting Contest' in Nashville. Quite an achievement, and one that saw him signed up to Universal Republic on the spot. He has now finished his debut album (due February 2012), almost entirely in his bedroom, with a few touches in LA. Going by this fantastic song, we can anticipate an album that sounds like nothing else. Our expectations for King Charles are at an all time high. Watch the video for free download Ivory Road.
