WE SAY
With a dirty rocking bluesy groove right from the off, this cracking track comes from Kill It Kid, a band from Bath who came to the attention of legendary mogul Seymour Stein two years ago. He rapidly signed them to his famous label Sire and it's pretty obvious why. He's always been a true music lover and singer Chris Turpin manages to distill elements of all of the greats like Plant, Jagger, Clapton and Jack White into his delivery here, summoning up a passionate vocal over the top of some serious buzzsaw-like guitar work of the highest order. This song comes from their latest album You Owe Nothing and the band tour the UK in November to promote it, bringing the live experience to London venue Oslo on November 3. We love the raw intensity on display here from this great British band and they show they can knock out a great solid melody too on the memorable chorus. They're already seeing success in Germany. It seems just a matter of time before the rest of the world catches on and joins the ride too.
