Taken from their forthcoming debut album 'It Was This Or Football', Kid British offer an lyrically breezy take on modern life, updating an 80's hit on Our House is Dadless. The use of classic British pop hits by new UK acts seems to have caused a lot of indignation on our messageboard recently, but we think that here it's a valid and fun blend of old and new. TV spots have included a performance of this on the final Soccer AM of the season on Sky 1 and Radio 1 support has come from Huw Stephens, Jo Whiley and Sara Cox. Following support dates with The Specials, they are on their own UK headline tour now before festival season kicks in. Watch the video here. JF London gig: June 3, Cargo EC2
