The polished beats and hard-hitting riffs of new single A4 In Ecstasy positions Kid Adrift as one of the more interesting bets for 2011. A confident leap forward from the Oxytocin EP released earlier this year, he now sounds like an artist that can hit the spot with rock and electronica fans, and can comfortably get coverage from the likes of Kerrang! as well as Radio 1 (where Nick Grimshaw and Zane Lowe are already supporters). He plays some UK dates to coincide with this release, including another headline London show and a Three/Spotify Now Playing gig with Tinchy Stryder and I Blame Coco in Manchester.The video for this track looks great too. Kid Adrift is available for publishing.
