Do You Fancy Me?
Kerry Leatham
WE SAY
Do You Fancy Me? is a fine piece of pop songwriting that displays in accomplished fashion Kerry's natural knack for a hook. Kerry Leatham is one half of Peter and Kerry, where as a duo they have been championed by Jon Hillcock on Xfm and Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music (they are playing his first curated show next Wednesday). The duo recently returned from a tour with one of this year's 'Sound Of' longlisters Lianne Le Havas and are currently recording their debut album. Do You Fancy Me? is clearly a standout piece of songwriting and has been picked up for a sync on Grey's Anatomy and Noel Clarke's '4,3,2,1'. Ever the prolific songwriter, Kerry continues to work on solo material/collaborations, and has recently worked with Lapalux, who has signed to Ninja Tune's Brainfeeder imprint. Kerry's Notes EP is available to download now. Video.
