Nothing More
Kelli-Leigh
WE SAY
Rising star Kelli-Leigh ends the year on a high with this sublime new track released on her own label Music Core. We previously featured the south Londoner back in August with the gorgeous house tune Can’t Dance, since then she has been on a major regional radio tour to support the track, picked by Mixmag as one of their artists to watch for in 2019 and currently features on Warner Bros artist Black Saint’s Don’t Wreck My Holiday, which has seen strong support on Radio 1’s Dance Anthems. Her new single, Nothing More, released last Friday, featured on seven Spotify New Music Friday playlists (inc UK) and sees Kelli-Leigh show another side to her music in this alluring downtempo and trap-inspired R&B gem. Accompanied by a powerful choreographed video, directed by Bipolar Spider, the track is perfect for chilled and after dark playlists, plus specialists plays on Radio 1, 1Xtra and Kiss. Having been told by major labels multiple times “it’s harder to sell a female artist”, Kelli-Leigh decided to go it alone and on evidence of her first three singles, she is already making some serious waves and 2019 is looking to be a big year for this talented singer and songwriter.
