Following the fantastic Steve Lamacq Rebel Playlist-winning I Will Dance (When I Walk Away), Katzenjammer are set to release shanty inspired follow up Rock-Paper-Scissors. The four talented Norwegian girls switch instruments, singing duties, and genres with every song. They are now selling out 3000+ capacity venues throughout Europe - the live show is something to behold, with Steve Lamacq proclaiming theirs was “the best gig of Glastonbury 2011” and David Byrne left so impressed by their adhoc performance as SXSW 2009 he personally invited them to play Bonnaroo festival. The forthcoming album - A Kiss Before You Go (May 7) - is already out in Europe where it went to No.6 in both Norway and Germany. Having sold-out Scala last night (March 22), the band will embark on a full UK tour in May. Video.
