Look What You've Done
Karin Park
WE SAY
Opening with the pounding beat reminiscent of every tune that you ever loved from the early 70’s glam rock era, this is an instantly brilliant beast of a track from Karin Park. Swaggering away like a strutting peacock in its full mating glory, it’s a sexy stomping single from the Swedish singer-songwriter and will appear on her forthcoming album Apocalypse Pop (due March 2). Heavily-influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode and Bjork, the track was co-written and produced by Jim Eliot (best known for his work on Ellie Goulding’s smash Anything Could Happen) and the remix package features a fabulous remodelling of the song by German DJ and producer Wanklemut, who’s just scored a huge UK summer Top 10 hit with My Head Is A Jungle. We love it when a great song comes along from nowhere, deserving your full attention immediately, before you then are eager to share it with everyone you know. Quite simply, this is pretty close to pop perfection.
