We’ve been keeping an eye on rising Brighton-based artist Kaisha since we heard her gorgeous five-track EP, ‘Nine Yards’, earlier this year. Her introspective take on R&B and soul on the EP, along with her soulful vocals and slick production, has also caught the attention of 1Xtra (Theo Johnson, DJ Ace), Radio 1 (Victoria Jane – Future Soul), 6 Music, Reprezent, Rinse FM and BBC Introducing. At DSPs, her music has been featured on editorial playlists at Spotify (Fresh Finds R&B, NMF, R&B Rising), Apple Music (New In R&B) and Soundcloud (Best UK R&B, Jamz). Tastemaker praise has also come from Colors, The Independent, Dummy, Cool Hunting, Wordplay Magazine, and more. Outside of her own music, the Malaysian-born artist has featured on tracks, including ‘Can’t Get Enough’ with Cupidon and Narou, which has amassed over 1m streams.
