How 2 Dance
Kaiser Chiefs
WE SAY
With 8m albums sold worldwide, multiple certified UK platinum and gold albums, over 800m streams, three BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello, it’s safe to say Kaiser Chiefs are one of the most successful UK bands of the past two decades. They kicked off their 13-date arena tour on Wednesday, which will stop at London's O2 on Saturday, but before that, they have dropped this insanely infectious and danceable number. Produced by Rudimental’s Amir Amor, How 2 Dance fuses the energy and infectiousness of the Kaiser Chiefs with Daft Punk’s cool electronic grooves and Pharrell’s upbeat funk vibes. It’s an absolute joy and one that lifts the spirit, which is just the tonic at times like these. Taken from their forthcoming new album, the song has already made an impact at DSPs, featuring on new release programming and alternative/indie editorial playlists at Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube. The song has already been added to Absolute 20s A-list, but expect this to pick up more radio plays very soon across national stations, and we hear they already have prime TV slots confirmed for 2023, along with an extensive festival plot. So expect to hear much more from the Leeds band over the next year. Top stuff.
